New Jersey Non-Compete Agreement Lawyers

Many companies require employees to a sign non-compete agreements and other similar restrictive covenants before hiring them, or as a condition to keeping their jobs, receiving a promotion, or accepting a stock or stock option grant. These agreements require you to sign away or limit your right to work for a competing company after you leave your current job.

Non-compete agreements can be enforceable in New Jersey and New York as long as they are not unreasonable. However, they also can severely restrict your ability to find your next job, and can limit your leverage when you try to negotiate a raise or a promotion with your current employer.

We note that the Federal Trade Commission has issued a rule that would ban most non-compete agreements, but that Rule does not go into effect until 120 days after it is published in the Federal Register, and is expected to be challenged in court. However, in 1926 the residents voted to change the town’s name to Wyckoff. The Township is home to the Goffle Road Poultry Farm, Abma's Farm, Market Greenhouse & Petting Zoo, Russell Farms Community Park, Zabriskie House, Zabriskie Pond Park, the J.A.
